One year ago today, we received the best news in regards to our adoption. We were matched with a baby girl in Weinan, China. Today we are in awe of our darling daughter and how far she has come these past few months since we were united in March 2013. We are taking some special Referral-versary photos this weekend and will post more details soon!

First, Congratulations! I know what this day is like. We just got our call last month. My husband had left for the gym. He wouldn't answer his cell phone, so hopped in the car and drove the 15 minutes to the gym which seemed to be the longest 15 minutes of my life. I ran into the gym. My husband was very confused why I was there and all I could keep saying was. We have her file. Opened the phone and there she was! Can't wait to go get her! So happy for your family.
ReplyDeleteJust noticed Charlotte got her lip repaired. I had seen her 5 month photo, but it didn't dawn on me. I bet you miss her cute little smile not that it isn't cute now, but I think CL/CP babies have the sweetest smiles.
